DAVIE, Fla. – The Barton men's golf team moved up two places to 13th after the second round Friday at the 2023 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional Championships which is taken place at the Grande Oaks Golf Club.
The No. 23 Bulldogs have totaled a 579 (+11) on the par-71, 6,725-yard course while Barry, ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II, leads with a 559 (-9). The Bucs are four shots better than third-ranked West Florida.
The Bulldogs are led by freshman
Ryan Jahr (Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.), who is tied for 15th overall with a one-under 141. Palm Beach Atlantic's Andrew Riley (St. John's, Fla.) continues to lead the tournament with one round to go. Riley has totaled a 10-under 162 and is two shots clear.
The third and final round takes place on Saturday.
