WILSON, N.C. – David Nicholson, who has served as head coach of the Barton College track and cross country programs for the past two seasons, has resigned in order to pursue other opportunities, school officials announced Tuesday.

ETTRICK, Va. – Barton College sophomore Micah Clemons won both the men’s shot put and discus events this weekend at the VSU Trojan Invite, and junior Larry Russell took first place in the men’s long jump while posting a national top-10 mark.
ELON, N.C. – Barton College sophomore Janae Cunningham broke one of her own school records for the second straight week this weekend while taking part in the Phoenix Invitational hosted by Elon University.
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Sophomores Meghan Araldi and Janae Cunningham both set Barton College school records this weekend at the VertKlasse Meeting, and freshman Jasmine Watson added a top-five performance in the hurdles during the event at High Point University.
