Barton women’s golf takes third place overall at the Coker Spring Invitational

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Barton women's golf team finished in a third-place tie out of 14 schools at the Coker Spring Invitational which concluded Tuesday at the Hartsville Country Club.

The Bulldogs shot a 630 (+54) on the par-72, 5,828-yard course while Anderson won the 36-hole tournament with a 616 (+40).

The Bulldogs were led by both junior Nikki Norlin (Innisfail, Alberta, CANADA) and Clare McMahon (Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA).  Both players tied for 11th overall with a 12-over 156.  Anderson's Tiffany Elam won the tournament with a two-over 146.

The Barton women's golf team next competes in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Championship on Sunday, April 7, through Tuesday, April 9, at the Cateechee Golf Club in Hartwell, Ga.
