Austin Doerr enters his junior year on the Barton men's golf team for the 2013-14 season.

Doerr was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll in the spring of 2013.

As a sophomore, Doerr had a 75.14 scoring average in 21 competitive rounds. Doerr earned Second Team All-Conference honors in his second season with seven top-20 finishes. Doerr shot 75-76-72 in the Conference Carolinas Championships to earn All-Tournament laurels for a second straight season. Doerr was in the Bulldogs lineup representing Barton in the NCAA Tournament for a second straight year. 

Doerr's freshman season was highlighted by earning Conference Carolinas All-Tournament accolades and participating in the 2012 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional. Doerr was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll in the fall of 2011. He played 20 rounds of competition representing the Bulldogs in his first season.

Doerr, one of the nation's tallest golfers at 6-foot-6, was a three-time conference champion for Garrett High School, the 2011 1-A/2-A District champion and  fourth-place finisher in the Maryland State Championships in College Park. He won the 2012 Western Maryland Amateur by four shots.

Austin, who is majoring in business and sports management, also played basketball in high school. He loves pizza, is a big fan of the Miami Heat and would like to be a college golf coach. He has a career low of 64.
